We have just learned that Diana Beresford-Kroeger has had a family medical emergency and will not be able to attend the event on Saturday evening. Our thoughts are with Diana at this time. She sends her regrets as she was really looking forward to this evening, and to be being in Dunedin with you all.
We're still going ahead with the event with Sarah Harmer. We are planning on showing parts of the documentary Call of the Forest featuring Diana Beresford-Kroeger, and her work will still be discussed. Sarah Harmer will be in conversation with Simon Heath, and will then perform a special acoustic set. It promises to be a very special evening.
Diana Beresford-Kroeger's new book, To Speak for the Trees, currently unavailable to the public, will be offered at a discount of 20% as an exclusive to this event.
If you have purchased a ticket and wish to request a refund, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We hope to see you Saturday for what promises to be an outstanding evening.
Welcome back to the 4th annual Dunedin Literary Festival, quaintly known as Words in the Woods. Please join us for Words & Music, a very special collaboration between world-renowned botanist Diana Beresford-Kroeger and Juno-award winner Sarah Harmer, in conversation with Simon Heath, executive director of the festival.
As always, Words in the Woods is a free, family-friendly event with lots of things for kids to do. Bring a picnic blanket and stay for the day to make great memories for the whole family! It also happens rain or shine so please dress appropriately.
