Kevin Quain

Kevin Quain is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and award-winning playwright. He has written music and songs for film, theatre, dance and television, and has performed in the touring sideshow Carnival Diablo as well as dozens of bands in a wide range of genres including country & western (Cameron Family Singers), Tex-Mex (Rancho Misterio), Celtic Punk (The Mahones) and his own garage jazz cabaret ensemble the Mad Bastards.

He has produced recordings for scores of artists of many genres in his studio above Toronto's Cameron House. He received the 2004 Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding New Musical for his play Tequila Vampire Matinee. He continues to write and perform in bars, bookstores, theatres and garages. His newest recording about november was released June 2018.
